Happy new year and welcome back everyone!
This half term our topic is all about imaginary creatures. We will be reading exciting stories such as The Gruffalo, Emily Brown and the Thing, The Ravenous Beast and Where the Wild Things Are. We will be using our imaginations to write about monsters and creting some of our very own – watch out!

Have you seen our new class pet? It’s a monkey but it doesn’t have a name. What would you like to call it? Let me or Ms Appleby know and we’ll have a class vote.
P.S. Try and make the monkey swing from the branches and give it a banana (use the more button).
