Bonjour!

On Tuesday we had languages day. Gregory’s mum came in to teach the children some French. We learnt how to say hello, goodbye, please, thank you, well done and count to 10. The children were excellent -Bravo FS2A!

Chinese New Year

This week in FS2 we are celebrating Chinese New Year. We will be learning how people celebrate this festival, cooking and tasting some noodles and even having our very own dragon dance.

Imaginary creatures

Happy new year and welcome back everyone!
This half term our topic is all about imaginary creatures. We will be reading exciting stories such as The Gruffalo, Emily Brown and the Thing, The Ravenous Beast and Where the Wild Things Are. We will be using our imaginations to write about monsters and creting some of our very own – watch out!

Today we had a very special visitor in class. Mr Nuttal brought his pet hedgehog in for us to see because we have been talking about nocturnal animals. Look at the pictures, he’s really cute!

Class Monkey
